Trying something New: Part 1

For 2017, I am focused on pushing myself outside of my comfort zones in terms of my style. I am very much the person who knows what she likes and stickS to what works, however, that would be fairly boring as a fashion blogger. Therefore, I’ve committed to trying new pieces and incorporating them into my current wardrobe. Today, I am kicking this off with a pastel pink longline cardigan. I actually had pulled this cardigan for a photoshoot I styled back in December.  I decided to try it on before I took it back to the store and long story short, I bought it lol. Since then, I’ve worn this cardigan with a few different outfits. The one I am sharing with you today is one I randomly put together while I went to run errands.

Since I am only 4’10” I am usually in heels when I go out. Also, given how long this cardigan is I wanted to give the illusion of being a little taller. If you are on the taller side, you can easily rock this look with a pair of flats or wedges.

In addition, to running errands in this look, I’ve actually worn this outfit on casual Friday in the office. If  you would rather wear this out for a date night or with girlfriends, you can trade the white T in for a crop top or cute bodysuit too.

Here are the outfit details:

Cardigan – Forever 21 White T – Forever 21 Denim – Forever 21 Heels – LolaShoetique Handbag – Forever 21 Necklace – Forever 21
